Ninety percent of Anchorage’s adults have high-school diplomas, 65 percent have attended one to three years of college, and 17 percent hold advanced degrees, placing Anchorage among the top metropolitan cities in educational attainment.
Anchorage has four higher-education facilities. The University of Alaska Anchorage[9] and Alaska Pacific University are within walking distance of each other, and Charter College[10] and the Anchorage campus of Texas-based Wayland Baptist University are also located in city limits.
